Call for Papers (AT2E)

Qingdao

The 2017 International Conference on Advanced Technologies Enhancing Education (ICAT2E2017), which will be held on March 18-20, 2017 in Qingdao, China. Qingdao located in the southeast part of Shandong Province, is a beautiful seaside city with clear air and enchanting sea view. This city, bordered by the Yellow Sea on two sides, has the largest bathing beach in Asia and produces the mellow Tsingtao Beer. Qingdao was also named China's most livable city by the Chinese Institute of City Competitiveness. It is becoming more popular with international tourists as well.

Introduction

The ICAT2E2017 focuses on using advanced technologies to enhance education which includes practice, technology and theory. Since ancient times, research in education has never been discontinued.

Nowadays, various new educational support techniques, tools or systems have emerged based on all kinds of teaching or learning theories. AT2E encompasses several domains, such as Pedagogy, Educational psychology, Anthropology, Statistics, Information Science, Neuro science. These domains are incorporated into education in order to enhance teaching such as enhance learning motivation, encourage active learning, and irritate critical thinking or creative thinking.

In particular, with the emergence of computer technologies which evolve very quickly, so has the changes in the research of education. Considering recent advances and emergence in information technology, and computer science and engineering, a Special Group is set up at the conference, named Advanced Computer Technologies (ACT).

Aim

The aim of this conference is to provide a worldwide forum, where the international participants can share their research knowledge and ideas on the recent and latest research on AT2E and map out the directions for future researchers and collaborations. Researchers and graduate students are welcomed to participate in the conference to exchange research findings in the frontier areas of Technologies Enhancing Education.
